Tesla delivery checklist

A quick inspection can help you document the condition of your vehicle when you receive it.

Before the appointment

Confirm your delivery location and time, required identification, payment and financing status, insurance requirements, and anything Tesla asks you to complete in the app.

At delivery

Check the exterior panels, glass, wheels and tires, lights, interior surfaces, seats, displays, doors, trunk and charging equipment supplied with your vehicle. Photograph anything you want documented.

Before leaving

Confirm basic controls, charging access and app connectivity. If you notice an issue, follow Tesla's current delivery/service process rather than assuming it will resolve automatically.
